If you are a registered shareholder, your shares are held directly by the Group, which has appointed Société Générale Securities to manage them. Société Générale Securities Services is therefore your sole point of contact.

If you are a bearer shareholder, your shares are held in an account opened by a shareholder with a financial intermediary of your choice who manages the shares on your behalf. Bearer shareholders are not know to our Group, except where the company commissions a TPI (titre au porteur identifiable i.e. identifiable bearer security) enquiry to Euroclear France, the French body in charge of executing financial market transactions, in order to get an overall or partial snapshot of its share ownership structure at a given moment in time.

Getlink SE being a French company with shares which, unlike a UK company, are not represented by share certificates, in order for its shares to be tradable in the UK, they have to be represented by an instrument which is recognised. This is the Crest Depository Interest (CDI). CDIs are issued through CREST (now Euroclear UK & Ireland).

Computershare Company Nominee Services Limited acts as Euroclear UK & Ireland participant in the management of CDIs.

Custodial fee is a fee charges by a broker or financial institution for safekeeping services.

If you are a registered shareholder, you are exempt of custodial fees.

If you are a bearer shareholder, custodial fees are applied by your financial intermediary for holding your shares in your securities account. Please do not hesitate to contact your financial intermediary to obtain further information concerning the custodial fees amount.

If you hold CDIs, you are exempt of custodial fees.

Management fee are charges received by a financial institution or a financial intermediary as compensation of a transaction or a specific management.

If you are a registered shareholder, you are exempt of management fees.

If you are a bearer shareholder, you mustcover the management fee charged by your financial intermediary.

If you hold CDIs, you are exempt of management fees.

As a bearer shareholder, you must contact your financial intermediary who is in charge of the management of your securities account as well as the execution of your orders, the payment of the dividends and sending you a transaction notice setting out the execution of the stock market order.

As a holder of CDIs, you can consult/update your account on line and find all information to place your stock market order on the secure website Investor Centre of Computershare: https://www-uk.computershare.com/Investor/default.asp?bhjs=1&fla=1

If you are a registered shareholder, Société Générale Securities Services sends you, if you are French fiscal resident, a single tax declaration form (IFU i.e Imprimé Fiscal Unique) featuring all transactions for and only the GET share.

If you are a bearer shareholder, your financial intermediary sends you a statement featuring all transactions in your securities account.

Getlink has been implementing a sustainable dividend policy since the 1st distribution in 2008, with the exception of 2019 due to the Covid-19 crisis. For more information, read the Dividend page.

To receive the dividend, you have to hold GET ordinary share(s) on the day before the ex-dividend date at the latest.

If you are a registered shareholder, the dividend is directly paid on your bank account by Société Générale Securities Services.

If you are a bearer shareholder, the dividend is directly paid on your bank account by your financial intermediary.

If you are a CDIs holder, the dividend is directly paid on your bank account by Computershare Investor Services Plc.

You should hold your shares in the bearer form. Therefore, you have to contact your financial intermediary as only shareholders who are in the registered form, thereby registered within the company, received the Group’s documentation directly.

  • The preparatory documents for the general meeting are available on our corporate website from the 21st day preceding the meeting.
  • You can subscribe to our email alert service to receive as soon as possible all information about our Group.”

In substance, if you are a registered shareholder, you must present your admission card sent by Société Générale Securities Services and a identification paper and if you are a bearer shareholder, you must present your admission card sent by your financial intermediary or a participation certificate as well as an identification paper. If you are a CDIs holder, you must present your admission card sent by Computershare Investor Services and a proof of identity.
