TNU information
TNU SA and TNU Plc (ex-Eurotunnel SA and Eurotunnel PLC) have ceased to exist.
Please note that all information regarding the transactions affecting TNU shares, which took place between 2007 and 2010, were sent directly to all shareholders whose name appeared on the TNU share registers (to the address the updating of which was the responsibility of shareholders) and were also published as required by law.
The information regarding the Financial restructuring is available by clicking here.
If you were a TNU shareholder, you may fall in either of the following situation:
Situation A – You took part in the 2007 exchange tender offer: therefore you exchanged your TNU shares for GET SA shares (ratio 1:1). You have become a shareholder of Groupe Eurotunnel SA, rebranded Getlink SE (in 2017) : please go to the Individual shareholders section.
Situation B – You did not take part in the 2007 exchange tender offer: you remained a TNU shareholder in 2007. Your TNU shares no longer exist as both companies merged with Groupe Eurotunnel SA:
- For TNU SA, in May 2009 on the basis of 992 TNU SA shares for 1 GET SA share
- For TNU PLC in October 2010 on the basis of 394 TNU Plc shares for 1 GET SA share
Following these merger transactions:
- If you elected to receive the GET SA shares to which you were entitled on the French register with BNP Paribas Securities Services or else GET SA shares CDIs with Computershare Investor Services Plc, you received all the documentation regarding your new holding in Groupe Eurotunnel SA directly at the address appearing on the registers, in 2007.
- If you did nothing or if you had a fractional entitlement, you received a cash indemnity from Computershare Investor Services Plc in the form of a cheque or bank transfer.
